Inventory Control Coordinator III
Req #08-01007 (Location: Houston, TX)
 
Azonix Corporation headquartered in Billerica, MA has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Coordinator III in its Houston, TX location. The ideal candidate must be interested in a hands-on position and must be a self starter able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 

Inventory:

·         Manage Kan-Ban inventory control system (Experience preferred – will train)

·         Process stockroom withdrawals, replenish orders, receipts and inventory adjustments as required.

·         Perform inventory adjustments to facilitate cycle counts and physical inventories

·         Coordinate returns of product from stocking areas to other areas as appropriate.

·         Coordinate inventory requirements with sales, buyers, and production

Logistics:

·         Contact customers on shipping preferences (Overnight, Ground, Etc)

·         Prepare Shipping Labels and Shipping Invoices

·         Update FedEx and U.P.S. customer database.

·         Schedule FedEx and U.P.S. pick-up.

·         Contact Customers for Shipping Account Information when necessary

·         Prepare Necessary Documentation for Domestic and International Shipping

·         Label and forward Tracking Information as necessary.

RMAs: 

·         Issue RMA Numbers and communicate RMA number to customers as needed.

·         Prepare Inserts Sales Orders/ Original Order Request needed for RMA folders.

·         Label Folders and prepare Labels needed for accurate Customer Identification.

·         Follow up on Customer RMA status and or confirmation of delivery.

·         Provide customer estimates / P.O. Requests and follow up.

·         Update CRM/ERP database as necessary (P.O. Numbers, new entries, and Monies)

·         Communicate estimate approvals to Repair Techs

Administration:

·         Work with accounting on Customer Credit Holds.

·         Address and/or route customer inquiries efficiently. (phone calls, emails)

·         Update Spreadsheets as necessary. (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly internal reports)

·         Transact Inventory Parts (Asset tracking)

·         Forward new customers necessary credit forms and information.

·         Deliver / Forward incoming mail and faxes to personnel.

 

The ideal candidate will have HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years experience in inventory control. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with Microsoft Powerpoint and Access is a plus. Also, experience with Tiger Paw a plus. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate range of $18.00 - $21.25/hour.
